75 MHz is a radio carrier frequency used for the operation of surface radio controlled models. It is illegal in most countries to use 75 MHz radios for the control of model aircraft because of the possibility of interference. The term "MHz" refers to "megahertz," or one million cycles per second. In the US, the 75 MHz band has thirty channels allocated within it.

The 75 MHz band is generally used by hobby-grade models only.
